Hmmmmmm. . . ice cream pie at Olympic Cafe

Located in the heart of Kapa’a, this restaurant is a must stop for me and my family every time were are in Kauai.
The restaurant is located on the second floor and offers open air dining.
They offer fantastic food, good drinks and wonderful deserts. If you want local dishes, they got it. You want a burger, they got it. The food is fairly priced for the portions you get and the views of town give you a hometown felling.
But you have to get the ice cream pie. I liked it much better than than Duke’s Hula Pie. It comes in many flavors. Unfortunately, I cannot remember the name of pie but the flavor I got was the March Madness. Mint Chocolate chip ice cream and a whole lot of goodness. Get It! Share It! Love It!

This was a staple of our family due to it location next door and great food. I say "was" since the restaurant moved down the road. I am sure the food is just as good. Their website menu does not list beer, so it may still be BYOB. I think it is worthy of telling you about it so you can check it out. Next time we are there, we will be going check it out again for the first time.

This place is WOW! Located in the corner of quiet commercial building, Tiki Tacos offers up some awesome tacos.
The sign on the building says “Authentic Mexican Food With a Hawaiian Heart”. Their food lives up to the slogan.
Everything is fresh and delicious. Get whatever kind of meat you like. They are all wonderful. And I had them all. . .that were available. This place is so popular that they run out sometimes.
Seating is limited and this place gets real busy. When I was there it was BYOB. Prices were very good.
PUKA DOGS
This hotdog stand is incredible. I cannot stress enough how much I love these hotdogs. Puka Dogs take uncut hotdog buns and steam them from the inside out and make them hollow. Filled with your favorite toppings. . .spicy mustard, mango mustard, and many more. It is so delicious. . . I could have one everyday! Prices were reasonable and there are multiple locations on the island.
